EDIT description on 9th Mar 2008: Heya, pple~ Eh, I'm embarrassed to say but this piece has tonnes of mistakes in it.
#1: Perspective is wrong. The indoor image is a downshot, but I painted the sky outside as an upshot. That's totally screwed up. But thank you everyone, for liking it for the surrealistic effects. ^^ I'm starting to like it this way too.
#2: The shadows and lighting are flat. I sucked at lighting 3 years ago (not that I'm superbly good now, just having a better understanding).
#3: The fabric (scarf etc.) falls unnaturally.
Etc. etc. which I am more aware of right now.

So yes. I feel that it's a little excessive to provide any criticism for this piece because it's way past its lifetime. Three years sure is alot of days. I'm glad people enjoy this piece for its aesthetic value, minusing off all the errors I committed then. <3 Thank you!

(people who know who he is already, can skip the following) ---------------------------------- [CUT]
This is the second of the current new series of art I'm working on for my original story [The Lilac Gardens]. I did Camellia here-> [link] . :3 This BOY here is Jonquil van Alstyne and he's a vampire in the 24th century... Based on my new story ideas, vampires of that time usually pair up with a genetically-modified human (one who has superhuman abilities) and hang around... defeating bad guys. o_O Eeto.. I remember having a background of who the bad guys are...but currently I've forgotten. o_o *blinks* .....

Anyway, his partner's a bishonen (but of course.. i can't bring myself to draw ugly people) and he's called Ruvan Quince. He's quite forgetful and usually forgets to bring Jon out for his late-night 'snacks' so poor Jon-baby stays inside their big house and starves -> becoming a very lean and slim vampire. hahahhaa... XD craaap.

Yeah. Reminiscent on the past Jon art I did here -> [link] He looked so young and kute. ;_; in here, he looks petrified and old. T_T His facial structure wasn't supposed to turn out this way. T_T His mouth is usually drawn differently, but due to lack of skills on my side, he is someone else now. *sigh*

Pose was unimaginatively referenced from Alichino vol. 1. This includes the window sill and its shadows. I do not claim to be the bright kid who can draw from such an angle.

Okay. I'm not a trained professional (yet) so please be kind in your comments. I know the wall's retardedly shaded, His only 2 fingers in the pic looked out of place (his right hand is resting flat against the sill thing) and the trees are from a brush (I don't want to use trees with leaves okay).
